CRAIG MACK - THE LOSS OF ONE OF HIPHOP'S MOST INFLUENTIAL ARTISTS
According to NY Daily News, Craig Mack has died of a heart failure in a hospital near his home in Walterboro, South Carolina.
Mack started his rapping career as MC EZ, he then blew up under his actual name after his platinum-selling single Flava In Ya Ear, following his move to Puffy Daddy’s renowned Bad Body Label. His steezy delivery and smooth, enticing flow prompted his next career-defining album Project: Funk da World, and his second album Operation: Get Down.
Mack demonstrated how his flow was not stuck in that era, it was futuristic and different to other MCs coming out of NY,always. Keeping his music strictly hiphop and never standing for the commercialisation of the trade, always sticking to his roots and not letting the fame sell him out.
Artists have been paying their respects online:

His most recent appearance was on Eric Sermon's single, Come Thru, featuring Method Man and Mr Cheeks, released on Rolling Stone's Soundcloud. Following his 2017 album The Mack World Sessions.
One love and rest in piece to the Mack, your flava will stay with us forever!
